GEE Magazin - “Tick Tech Boom!” - 3 Single Pages - March 2025

I had the pleasure of drawing a lead and two single-pages for the always-awesome german video-games-magazine GEE! GEE doesn't just play the games and report on them - it's also about the whole culture surrounding them, including pop culture and social issues, and they also work with illustrations - very nice!

I was allowed to illustrate an article that took on a whole new, threatening topicality with Trump's inauguration in mid-January: It's about the richest men in the world, who almost without exception come from the tech industry, how they come from nerddom, they loved video games and sci-fi and taking their visions from that culture - step by step they are turning into the dystopian bad guys and threatening our-all future.

Für das immer-tolle Videospiele-Magazin GEE durfte ich einen Aufmacher und zwei Einzelseiten zeichnen - ich freue mich sehr! GEE spielt nicht nur die Games und berichtet über sie - es geht auch um die ganze Kultur drumherum, auch popkulterelle und gesellschaftliche Dinge werden behandelt, es gibt auch Illustrationen - sehr schön!

Ich durfte einen Artikel illustrieren, der mit der Inauguration Trumps mitte Januar eine ganz neue, bedrohliche Aktualität bekommen hat: Es geht um die reichsten Männer der Welt, die fast ausnahmslos aus der Tech-Branche kommen, wie sie aus dem Nerdtum kommen, sie haben Videospiele und Sci-Fi geliebt und ihre Visionen aus dieser Kultur entnommen - nach und nach verwandeln sie sich in die dystopischen Bösewichte und bedrohen unser-aller Zukunft.
